A Reformed Baptist Church Serving Gastonia, North Carolina

Gastonia is the heart of Gaston County, a former mill town with a proud history and a growing future. If you live in Gastonia and want a church that is confessional and Reformed Baptist, where the Bible is preached verse by verse and the 1689 Confession shapes everything we believe, we invite you to look our way. We meet in homes in nearby Stanley each Lord's Day at 4 PM, just a short drive up Highway 27.

Who we are

Coram Deo Reformed Baptist Church is a gathering of believers seeking to live faithfully before God through His Word, the preaching of Christ, meaningful fellowship, and the ordinary life of the local church. Our doctrine and life are ordered by Scripture, summarized in the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith. More on our beliefs page.

When and where we gather

Each Lord's Day at 4:00 PM we gather for worship: verse-by-verse preaching, prayer, congregational singing of hymns, and fellowship, typically closing with a shared meal. We are a young church plant meeting in homes in the Stanley area. If you are coming from Gastonia, contact us beforehand and we will share the location and help you plan your visit.

What to expect

You will find simple, Word-centered worship without performance or hype. The sermon works through a book of the Bible verse by verse. We pray together, sing hymns together, and make use of the historic creeds, the 1689 Confession, and the Baptist Catechism. Families worship together; children are not separated out. Come as you are, dressed modestly.

Areas we serve

From our base in Stanley we serve believers across Gaston and Lincoln counties, including Stanley, NC, Denver, NC, Lincolnton, NC, and west Charlotte.
