A Reformed Baptist Church Serving Stanley, North Carolina

Stanley is our hometown. This small Gaston County town along Highway 27 is where our church began gathering in 2023, and it is still where we meet each Lord's Day. If you live in Stanley and you are looking for a church that takes Scripture seriously, preaches through the Bible verse by verse, and holds to the historic 1689 Baptist Confession, you do not have to drive to Charlotte to find one. We are right here.

Who we are

Coram Deo Reformed Baptist Church is a gathering of believers seeking to live faithfully before God through His Word, the preaching of Christ, meaningful fellowship, and the ordinary life of the local church. We are a confessional church: we hold to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as a faithful summary of biblical doctrine. You can read more about what we believe on our beliefs page.

When and where we gather

We gather each Lord's Day at 4:00 PM for worship: the preaching of God's Word, prayer, congregational singing of hymns, and fellowship together. We typically conclude with a shared meal. We are currently in a season of growth as a church plant, so we meet in homes in the Stanley area. Because of this, we ask visitors to contact us before attending, and we will gladly share the location and answer any questions.

What to expect

Our gatherings are simple, intentional, and centered on the Word of God. We preach through books of the Bible verse by verse, seeking to explain the meaning of the text and apply it to our lives. Our aim is not to share opinions, but to faithfully proclaim what God has said. We are a family-integrated church, so children remain with their families during the service. There is no dress code; we simply ask for modest dress fitting for worship.

Areas we serve

We are based in Stanley and serve believers across the region: Denver, NC, Gastonia, NC, Lincolnton, NC, and west Charlotte.
